A rocket engine fueled with a propellant or propellants in liquid form. Also called "liquid-propellant rocket". Rocket engines of its kind vary somewhat in complexity, but they consist essentially of one or more combustion chambers together with the necessary pipes, valves, pumps, injectors, etc.
